The hotel is centrally located in the old town. Close enough to walk to anywhere but far enough away from the hustle and bustle on market days to be quiet. The décor is mock Bavarian, whilst the rooms are themed to the Lord of the Rings saga...something I didn't quite understand, but it was a fun touch. The staff were wonderful and helpful (they looked after a suitcase of mine dropped off a day before check-in as I was travelling elsewhere for 1 day), and the hotel was exceptionally clean and tidy, in the common parts and the rooms. Upper floors have good views across the city too, either towards the temples or Doi Sutep. The pool was small but looked good (I didn't have time to use it), and the in-house restaurant looked cozy too (again, I didn't have time to visit). Scooter parking was available on-site and the hotel had a few bicycles for guests to use free of charge. Rooms are a good size, with efficient but not noisy AC. Bathrooms clean and well appointed, although quite small.

Beautiful hotel located in the old city of Chiang Mai. location meant that all sites in the old city are doable by foot for anyone with a decent level of fitness. You are just across the road from the biggest temple and near a few excellent restaurants and coffee shops - if you like fantastic coffee make sure you pop across the road to Thor-Phan!! Pool is lovely and clean with a swim up bar if you want it. The pool is shaded which is a nice relief from the sun but there are also places to soak up the sun if you want to top up your tan! We didn't have the breakfast as we saw there were lots of breakfast places in Chiang Mai and wanted to try a variety - but it looked nice from what we could see. The room was comfortable, a small balcony overlooking some greenery, and it was cleaned every day.

This charming little oasis has such kind staff, very clean and comfortable room & bed in a beautiful setting. I would classify it as a boutique hotel. The photos on their site are accurate. I loved that the moment you arrive, you felt a sense of calm. There's soothing music playing by the pool and attentive staff to look after your needs. There's a little variety store right across the street which is handy. We easily walked to many temples, shops and restaurants from this location.

All staff were very friendly and helpful. We contacted the hotel prior to arrival to request a breakfast box as we were going on an excursion the next day. The breakfast box was available as stated and had loads of food of good quality. The staff were keen to help throughout the stay. everything was clean and tidy. We have recommended that our in laws stay here when they travel next year.

The staff was supportive with getting a taxi to the airport and early breakfast (which we were not informed about it would be take away and not the same as on site, but the staff was helpful to get some more). The room/hotel is good value for money. We did not have time to use the pool, but that is a positive point as well. Hotel is located close to the weekend night market Street.
